Overnight he transformed from a 4F draft reject into a super powered human, with super strength, reflexes, intelligence, and superior durability. He used his enhanced intellect to create his magnetic 'Bullet helmet' which protected him from bullets and other projectiles, and the 'Gravity Belt' which allows him to fly, and began a crime fighting career as the superhero Bulletman. Shortly after his first public appearance, his girlfriend, Susan Kent, figured out his identity, and after her own dose of the crime cure serum, plus personalized Magnetic Helmet and Gravity Belt, she became Bulletgirl.
