January, 1986: Continuity cop Jonni DC, frustrated by Ambush Bug's zaniness, plans a more permanent solution to get him out of her hair. Superman spots Ambush Bug and chases after him. Jonni DC teams up with Argh!yle! to shoot Ambush Bug into space. Cheeks the Toy Wonder accidentally causes the Bizarro duplicator ray to make a Bizarro duplicate of Superman, who in turn makes Bizarro duplicates of Ambush Bug and Cheeks. Jonni DC gasses all the Bizarros, and she and Superman load them onto Argh!yle!'s spacecraft and launch them into space. //Note: This story is not strictly in continuity and should not be taken too seriously.// ["Ambush Bug: Let the Buggy Bizarro"]

  * January, 1986: Jonni DC, the continuity cop, has her hands full dealing with Ambush Bug on top of all the changes since the Crisis. After she awakes to find Comet the Super-Horse's head next to her in bed, placed there by Ambush Bug and his sidekick Cheeks the Toy Wonder, she vows to find a more permanent solution. At WGBS, Clark Kent repeatedly fumbles his lines, angering Morgan Edge. Spotting Ambush Bug running amuck, he chases after him, while Jonni DC has teamed up with Buggy's old nemesis, Argh!yle! Ambush Bug and Cheeks are battling the stereotypical Red Chinese villain Egg Fu when Jonni DC arrives and sends Egg Fu away. ["Ambush Bug: Let the Buggy Bizarro, Chapter 1: Ode to a Phymatidae"]
  * Superman arrives at the scene, and Jonni DC explains there's only one way to deal with Ambush Bug, who knows he's a comic-book character and can manipulate reality. She and Argh!yle! plan to exile him into space. Just then, Cheeks the Toy Wonder's plush arm accidentally causes the Bizarro duplicator ray (conveniently brought along by Jonni herself) to duplicate Superman, creating Bizarro No. 2. This Bizarro then uses the duplicator ray to create eleven other Bizarros, including a Bizarro-Ambush Bug who is a refined gentlemen and a Bizarro-Cheeks who can't stop moving or speaking at all times. The new Bizarros all worship Bizarro-Cheeks, their chosen one. After Jonni DC gasses the Bizarros, she and Superman load all the Bizarros onto Argh!yle!'s spacecraft (which looks like a sock drawer) and sends them off with random coordinates.
